It looked fine when I went in, then I made a content change and the page reverted back to it's weird format! I am so done. This should not be happening. It's a simple text change and this keeps happening. The GOOD news is a did a backup after I went in. The BAD news is it didn't fix anything. So what does that mean??? How are garbage and extra lines creeping in? Pleeeez help me figure out what is wrong. I wanted our home page to be informative but it has become too much of a headache to maintain.

The changes I made to the home page were for the January 17 and February 21 meetings only. What you see online now is the BEFORE view which was restored by the backup.

My process was I opened the admin console, typed in the changes below by hand (no copy/pasting), changed text colors, saved and closed. That's when the spacing change occurred. I went back into the admin area and performed the restore function which changed the content for the 2 dates but did not fix the formatting issue.

Content and color changes made (copy was reversed so that "Online meeting" was moved before the meeting theme title):
January 17, 2024  text was changed to: Online meeting "New Thoughts for a New Year" (Online meeting was black text; the meeting theme had the text color)
February 21, 2024 text changed to: Online meeting Winners' Circle (Online meeting was is black text; Winners' Circle was the colored text)

PS: I looked at the html created when I backed up this morning AFTER making those edits and I see now that the backup did NOT update the content. Inserted a screenshot from the html. That makes no sense.

My PC is an HP Envy running MS 2010. Thank you for your help. I'm sorry for the headache. It's fixed for now. I have a laptop I could use next time, so we'll see how it goes.
