{{firstname}} not working in agenda email

Hello,
We used to have an agenda email template set up with the {{firstname}} variable that would be populated with the member's first name upon emailing. Sometime over the last year or so we noticed that the variable only gets replaced with a space. We've selected the variable from the dropdown list rather than manually enter it but we have also tried to manually type the variable as well, with no luck.
Within the same email we are using other variables which are working just fine.
Can you assist with resolving this issue?
Our website is  5470.toastmastersclubs.org/ .
Thank you,
Lavon Compton

Strange, I copy/pasted your first template and had the same result.  I got it to work again by deleting the {{firstname}} variable, and then adding it back from the list.
You can test that by sending a message only to yourself as website admin (at the bottom of the "send this email to" dropdown
If it works, don't forget to save the template again

Hi, Pam--

Even more odd, it works when I send an email only the site administrator. However, when I send an email to anyone else, or even the site administrator and another person, I still only see a blank.

Did you save the updated template before sending it out the second time?
You should also clear the header (which has an old date) before saving it

My apologies, Pam--

I did read your reminder to save the template in your last message, and then I did not do it!

Now I have saved the template, and it is functioning as expected.

Thank you for your assistance!
