To whom it may concern,

Our club, Stirling Toastmasters - 7461614, when sending emails from the members@stirlingtoastmasters.com email address (whether through FTH or separately) has the wrong sender information displaying in the email upon opening. The have the sender address as "Toastmasters Club 8248 on behalf of Angela Moon PM5" see attached image. It looks like it's coming from another club when in reality, our club is sending it. Would you know where I edit this sender information on "members@stirlingtoastmasters.com" so I can correct inaccurate sender description? Thank you, Rick Quiroz, VPPR

Your email client is remembering a previous email from the FTH

Add contacts for server@toastmastersclubs.org and agenda@toastmastersclubs.org

Where in FTH do I add contact for server@toastmastersclubs.org and agenda@toastmastersclubslorg?  Thanks! Rick

You add it to your email client, not FTH.

Hi Brian, Thanks again for all your help, much appreciated! However, I'm a lowly vppr with no technical background, who is the email client? We have standard email addresses (see below). I thought they were set up through FTH, but I guess not. I checked with go daddy, who is the domain registrar but we don't have any email service with them. Any suggestions? Perhaps I'm just overlooking the obvious.

Thank you for your patience and assistance!

The email client is a bit of techy jargon that means the program that you use to read your email. It may be Outlook or Thunderbird, or one of a number of other programs. The address books in these programs often add a name to the entry. For example, you may have
Code:
Mary Smith - vpe@myclub.toastmastersclubs.org

The program remembers this and tries to be helpful by displaying it when you receive an email. But, like a lot of things, it can be confusing on occasion.

You should be able to edit the address book and either remove or change the name attached to the email address.
