Linking to YouTube Videos was created by Bo

When you create a link only using the custom webpages, if you add a YouTube URL, it will play the video right on your site!

Here are 2 other options, if you want the video in the main content area:

go to the YouTube Video you want.

Click on "Share" below the video

Click on "embed"

Copy the embed code

Go to the main content area (in the Admin area "Web Settings")

Click on the word "Source" which will then show the html "code"

Paste the embed code where you want it (at the top is a good idea).

Hit Save and Close to see how it looks.

To adjust the size of the video go back to the main content area and adjust the frame size.

You can see how it looks at my club website (below).

Another option is to take a screen shot of the video, add a triangle shape to make it obvious people are supposed to click it and then link the video to the picture. (on my own videos, I actually have gone to the edit section of my youTube channel and take a screen shot that already has the play button).

I think this is a fantastic feature. I would like to know whatsome of your favorite You Tube video links are! I am thinking of linking to David Henderson's speech on You Tube!

When I added a YouTube video to the FTH home page it sits on top of certain other elements. I appended the iframe code to fix this.

I also did a quick video to explain everything. Enjoy.
