Editing Home Page on a site ported over from FTH3

Locked 4 replies · 221 views

I am VPPR and Secretary of Saturday Morning Live TMs #2440. Among my duties was to edit and curate our site home page. A lot of guests and new members are attracted to our club by the text and images on our home page, including a PNG image of our club newsletter. Now that our site has been ported over to FTH4, I am unable to edit the items on the home page located between the Meeting Info, Visit as a Guest, and Podcast links and "Guests are welcome." I am not the official administrator of the website.  In FTH3, I could log on to the site as an Administrator and edit the home page. How can I regain the ability to edit the home page?
Please could you re-check your club number. We have a different club name on record for the club number you've given us.

Thanks.

Sorry. The club number is 2470.
Thanks, that looks right.

The admin on record is Steve Goldstein, DTM. You'll need to talk to him about delegating access for you to edit the MainPage and Manage website.

If the admin name is incorrect, you can change it by going through the process described here: https://support.toastmastersclubs.org/doc/changing-site-admin

👍 Thanked by Eugene Zolnay

Thank you. I will contact Steve about delegating Home Page editing to me as soon as he is available. zee
