Hi

My Club is Milpitas Toastmasters, Club 7242. I'm trying to setup a Paypal Donate Button on my Club's website. Opened a Paypal account under the Treasurer's email address, which is This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

Here are the two issues I encountered, which don't seem to be covered under any resources or forum posts:

1. Paypal needs to get an email confirmation from This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. to set us up as a Nonprofit. Their emails are not going through. Is there a way to allow Paypal emails to go trough?

2. Paypal button code is Javascript based. This is the only option Paypal gave me, yet Toastmasters site does not accept Javascript. Can I please have some tips on how to resolve this?

Many thanks,
Anamaria Maireanu

All depends on where the paypal emails are coming from and why you think we are stopping them.
What email address are they coming from?
What IP address?

Paypal has non java script methods did you read our documentation?

Hi Brian

Thanks for sharing the link. I called Paypal and they said the Donate button is based on HTML, not Javascript. When I log in to the Toastmasters website as an Admin, I try to paste the link directly into the Home Page (after launching Admin Console). Issue is that no button shows up on the page. Instead, I am getting all the html text there. Also, strangely the site is giving me a message that this is Java code.

Am I pasting the code in the wrong place or am I missing something here? I have reviewed lots of documentation and could not find this specific issue anywhere.

Brian,

I am logging in to Paypal account and generating a Button HTML code. I'm not sure what you mean by "code for email".

Paypal is directing me to: "In your HTML editor, access the HTML code for the page where you want the button to appear.Paste the code from the clipboard into the HTML page code so that the button appears where you want it."

Can you suggest how can I access the web page HTML editor?
