To whom it may concern,
Our new member cannot log into the Olympic Orators website. He shows up as a member of our club, but not in the new member list to send the welcome letter. There is a black line through his name in the member list and he shows having only 8 more days to respond to the welcome email. However, he doesn't show up on the home page list for the website so that he can log in.
I have waited before for 30 days, to have his name disappear and then re-register him again on the website, but it is always the same problem. I just added a new member today without any problems and without having the black line through her name.
What more can I do?
Thank you,
Carolyn

Please see support.toastmastersclubs.org/doc/item/m...ip-panel#add-members for more detail. Could you also please add your club number to requests.

The short answer to your question is that the new member needs to approve their listing by clicking on the link in the opt-in email, not by logging in. Maybe the first member isn't aware of this and needs to be informed? (The second member may have responded very promptly, so you don't really get a chance to see the line through the name. I've seen this happen on a site I help maintain.)

You can resend the OPT IN email... it's a selectable action in the MEMBERSHIP menu.
THANK YOU!
