Several weeks ago I was unable to access my club websites,  either directly from their URL or linking from Find a Club.  T he connection timed out.  A  little fiddling showed that I could not access ANY FTH website, although other websites seemed to work fine.   Your support documents suggested clearing cookies.  I cleared all the cookies and was able to access FTH sites again.  But now the problem is back.    I tried clearing the cookies for toastmastersclubs.org, but it didn't help.

At the same time, I have been unable to send mail to the member list address.  They come back with a message saying I don't have permission to send to that address.  But it is the same address, from my same email address, that I have been using successfully for years,  including from this machine.  I have looked at the member lists and can't see a problem.   Club 2224 sent another email saying I had been blacklisted, but I couldn't see it.    The mail list did not work during the time I was able to access the websites after the first time I couldn't.    I don't know if these two problems are related.

I am using Firefox 94.0.1 (64-bit) on Windows 10.  I have also tried Chrome Version 95.0.4638.69 (Official Build) (64-bit) with the same results.

Can you help?

Your email address is on the crowd-sourced blacklist.  To send emails to your clubs, you'll have to get them to put you on their whitelists - details here: support.toastmastersclubs.org/doc/item/email-and-contact-forms.  Or they can stop using the crowd-sourced blacklist, but I wouldn't recommend that.

When you say you can't access any FTH sites, do you mean the home page doesn't display, or you can't log in as a member?

Have you tried using a different device to access the websites?

it looks like you are using a VPN sorry to say the IP from that VPN has been blocked for abuse.
Turn off your VPN and it should work.

When I say I can't access FTH sites, I mean the home page does not load.   Nothing happens, and then the browser puts up a notice that the allowed time was exceeded.

I have tried my old laptop and I was able to access and log into my club sites.

I have admin access and added my email to the whitelist of both clubs.  Is there any way to find out how I got on the crowd-sourced blacklist?   I am not a spammer.

Thank you for your help.

You must have sent an email to another club and they marked it as spam.
You should know who you contacted.

Thank you.  I have been through my sent mail and can't find anything suspect.  But possibly someone spoofed my email and did something nasty  Anyway, thank you.

Thank you.  I have had trouble with my Amazon account getting hacked, so I really don't want to use the internet "naked".  But I forced the VPN to connect through a different server (with a different IP address) and that seems to have cured the problem.  So thank you for explaining it.  My IP address is now 3000 miles away, but what's 6000 miles at the speed of light?
