Greetings,

I am writing from Virtual Parliamentarian Toastmasters (Club #7850496) and it has come to our attention that our President can't email vpm-7850496@toastmastersclubs.org in any of the fields (To, CC, and BCC) for our VPM to receive emails using this alias. Our President uses a Gmail account while our VPM uses a Yahoo email account. The error message in the subject is "[FreeToastHost] Message Not Delivered" with the body of the email stating, "You do not have the right permissions to send an e-mail to this e-mail address (vpm-7850496@toastmastersclubs.org) from jennyliu.tm@gmail.com . Be sure your "From" address in your e-mail client is the same as your address in your toastmastersclubs.org member profile." I've attached a sample email to help troubleshoot.

Could you kindly assist with this?

Brian: They should not have any issues using CC:. However, the OP is mentioning the use of BCC, which we do not support.

I believe the following entry in our email logs is relevant:

I believe this warrants further investigation.

Reason: Per the above log entry, the code is flagging jennyliu.tm@gmail.com as an unauthorized From email address. Typically, this will happen if someone sends from an email address that is not in their member profile. However, it looks like Jenny has entered this email address in her member profile. Hmmm...

Maya: Did Jenny just add this email address to her profile very recently? (just checking if she maybe sent email from it before putting it in her profile)

I have confirmed that the email address is not blacklisted.

I have confirmed that the vpm email address is not disabled by the VPM.

Please have Jenny send a test email to the VPM email address, but prefix the subject line with {{trace,savein}} . This will save some troubleshooting information that I can take a look at.

Ok, well I am not sure what to say then. :? If your vpm is receiving the emails that she was not previously receiving, and my troubleshooting information is telling me that everything is working fine (that is what I see), then I am not sure if there is anything to do on this. I need to be able to reproduce a problem and see how it is occurring to be able to resolve it. :unsure:
