Tracking Member Award Status- hiding Former Member activities?

I might be totally mistaken, but I thought that FTH 1.0 had a place where members and the VPE could track their progress toward various awards, such as CC, CL, ACB, and so on. With it, you could list which speeches and leadership projects you have completed (and when), and you could also make projections into the future. I think this could make the VPE's job much easier, especially if members could update it themselves.

I couldn't find anything about this in either the documentation or forums.

Replied by Brian on topic Tracking Member Award Status
That feature was not brought forward as no one kept it up to date as it was manual.

FTH has a feature integrated with the agenda. A member can pull all the roles and speeches they have done using the role reports.

Thanks, Brian. I found some links to club management software on the TI website. It looks like one or two of them might have something like this. I will investigate that.

I also saw the ability to pull reports from the agendas.

The role report shows some empty entries. Where do these empty entries come from - backup speaker entry? Please see the attachment.

The role reports are the agendas and the agendas are the role reports. Essentially, the two are just different views of the same source data, except that the agenda is basically the form where the data gets entered. If the information in an agenda is incomplete, then the corresponding role report entry will be incomplete. This is why it is very important to reconcile your agendas after each meeting to make sure that they accurately reflect who *actually* spoke and did the meeting roles.

What I did when I was VPED was to keep a markup copy of the printed agenda for myself at meetings. I would mark up that agenda with the actual people in the roles and use the markup to reconcile the online agenda after the meeting.

That is what I am doing right now. I just wasn't sure if I should clean up the "Backup Speaker", because it seems it will show up in the report even though the backup speaker didn't actually give his/her backup speech.
