Believe it or not, some of your Toastmasters globe images have URLs that may get rejected as invalid by email (e.g. Outlook). (not your fault) I realize this probably sounds weird, but it is related to how the URLs are stored... if you look closely, you have some agenda dates w/ the URLs for the globe image starting w/ "//" ... that is what is getting rejected by email.

Pam and I have tested this... she uses Outlook... she is also aware of the issue.

This is related to the recent changes for HTTPS support--it has not gone particularly smoothly. :S I have put a workaround in place for you (and others) for the "//" issue.

Steve,

I am sorry to say that the email test did not go through. Club 1009828 uses the website a lot to communication meeting agendas...this issue is going to have an impact on the club communication and participation. I appreciate all you are doing to try to correct the issue. Is there anything I can do to the Agenda to remove the offending image with the URL that is causing the emails to be rejected?

Did you click the reload link at the bottom of the page before resending?

I had a similar issue with images in an agenda, but it has been resolved since Steve tweaked the system. I had to reload from server after Steve made his changes.

Good Morning Pam,

Yes I did use the reload option at the bottom of the agenda. It tried sending the agenda again after the screen refreshed. I have since logged out of the club website and have not performed any other tests this morning. Is there a time delay for the update to be effective? Should I try it again?

The update should have been effective immediately after a reload after Steve's last post (about 8 hours ago).

The problem seemed to be related to images on the agenda. Did you have any images in the text of your email?

Whoops - sorry - I'm confusing posts from two different people.

I don't think the images would prevent you from receiving the email.

The only agenda emails from you in the last week are going to your VPE, not to all members. I suspect that you only have the VPE selected in the "Send this email to" box at the top of your agenda email. The system remembers your last setting. Change that to all members and send again.
