Teams Link is not working -- too many characters (?)

I have attempted to place our club's Microsoft's Teams link into the Agenda Template URL field where is inidcated we can place Teams or Zoom URL links. 

The link's text is very long and does not work when clicked on from the agenda on the website.

In reviewing some of the previous Forum items related I can see that link length was possibly an issue.  And though expanded my Teams link appears well beyond the length extensions I last saw referenced.

Any suggestions for correcting this?

Use a url shortener site. bitly.com www.shorturl.at    

I made the db field size bigger to hold more characters for the online meeting URL.  (up to 1000 characters now)
