I’m not sure what you mean by your first point though. What do you mean by officer-nnnn vs. contact-nnnn?

The "officer-nnnn" email address is not intended for use by the general public, only club members can successfully send email to that email address.  The "contact-nnnn" email address intended for use by the general public when contacting a club.
