Added new member and nothing happens

I'm an experienced webmaster who just tried to add a new member for the first time in FTH4. I tried repeatedly and nothing is added and no email received about an add. Why?
I am webmaster for club 1999 in District 220
Error message received after recent try to add is
Skipped Jocelyn McDaniel (email already in this club).
However no listing of this person with her information crossed out

1) without your club number we can do nothing for you.

2) If you tried to add someone and "nothing happened" did you look at the top of your screen for the error?

If Jocelyn is already be in the system as a prospect, guest, etc. the system will not let you add her email a second time. Check your other member lists. If found, move her to the member list.
