AGENDA HELP with *** and ###

I have my new template created for my agenda online sign ups. It looks wonderful and so excited about all the functionality. However, even thought I have read and re-read the situation of multiple people and one role (speaker/evaluator) multiple roles and one person i,e, *Toastmaster* and *Grammarian* ... I believe I have set things up... as correct as i know how... HOWEVER my *Evaluator*#1 and *Evaluator*#2 and my *General* Evaluator are getting all mixed up when one signs up for one role and my *Speaker*#1 and *Speaker*#2 are getting mixed up... I obviously have got my stars and pounds signs whacked... and can't find an example to follow except the easy ones like *Toastmaster* and *Grammarian*
So excited to get this fixed!
thank you!

Don't use the asterisks and the pound signs in the same role. Use one or the other.

Askerisks just mean that "all these are the same and should be counted a multiple instances of the same role" with the same person filling the role.

Pound signs mean multiple instances of the same role, but with *different people" filling the multiple instances.

So, what matters is whether it is the same person or multiple people filling the role.

I would also suggest using *General Evaluator*, not *General* Evaluator.

Usually the General Evaluator introduces the Speech Evaluators, not the Toastmaster. Is it different in your club? Seems like you are burning up time unnecessarily.

Also you are applying multiple sets of asterisks in each role, so there is no way the software can figure out which is the role the person is signing up for.

I took out the combo of *** and ### which made a few things better but my evaluators are still mixing...
so, is is Evaluator#2 introduces Speaker#2
and is it *General*Evaluator introduces Evaluator#1 ????
and yes, to your question. remember, i am the newbie... the club has been around for 5 years (without a website!)

Ok, the askerisks should be on the role title that a person is signing up for.

So... for example, PRESIDENT introduces the *TOASTMASTER* ... who is doing the action, the president or the toastmaster?
If it is the president, then the president should have the asterisks, not the toastmaster, since the role would be assigned to the president. However, you only need the asterisks if the person/role combo shows up more than once in the agenda. The asterisks just tie those multiple occurrences of the role/person together.
