ohhhh kay. but... what about the President who does show up several places... with regards to your last statement how does this work? you say I need the ** if they show up more than once. The pres does... so is it *President* introduces *Toastmaster*?

PRESIDENT introduces the *TOASTMASTER* ... who is doing the action, the president or the toastmaster?
If it is the president, then the president should have the asterisks, not the toastmaster, since the role would be assigned to the president. However, you only need the asterisks if the person/role combo shows up more than once in the agenda.

I would spell out Sargent at Arms.

I would add to the Sargent at Arms description for them to gavel the meeting to order, ask for members in attendance to silence their cell phones, and introduce the presiding officer. (I am a former SAA who was very well regarded.)

I didn't have it as *President* because that is a pre-assigned role and I can elegantly select her... but what about other situations like:
*General* Evaluator introduces Evaluator#1
or
Evaluator#2 introduces Speaker#2

If they show up in multiple places, then use the asterisks. However, the askerisks need to correspond to the role that a person would be signing up for (or would be assigned to in the case of the President).

The way you have many of those roles is very confusing because the role title is not consistent with what is described in the role description.

You are trying to put the transitions in the agenda as role titles, which will get very confusing if you do a lot of those. Instead, use simple lists in the role descriptions with the instruction for the transition as the last part of the list.
