Unable to create file structure

Hi,

I am attempting to create file structure. I attempted to use these instructions:
support.toastmastersclubs.org/doc/item/file-management
But they do not work.

They tell you to save a file in a format such as VPM: guest records. This supposedly creates a folder called VPM and within it will be a file called guest records.

All this does is create a file named VPM: guest records. Any other files labeled VPM: anything else simply vanish after saving.

Any assistance you could give me would be greatly appreciated.

Also, is it possible to set up sub-folders as well?

Thank you very much!

I'm sorry, I wasn't clear. I was using VPM as an example of the file structure, since that was the example in the instructions.

What I was attempting to do was create a folder called Officer Meeting Minutes. For some reason it did not appear when I attempted to create it. After logging out and coming back in, I see the folder with one document in it, listed in downloads section (I didn't see it appear when I was in the file manager, which is what confused me).

However, I uploaded a second document to go in that folder twice, (Jjuly 14 2017) and it simply vanished after I saved it. I just tried again with another file to go in the same folder (September 11 2017) and it also has vanished.

Thank you for your assistance.

I can see the folder " Officer Meeting Minutes" in the members downloads.

I have added 2 files to the Officer Meeting Minutes: folder

remember you have to upload with regular file names and then you add the suffix with the colon.

file names with colon are not valid for upload.
