I just tried to add a new member via the Quick Add tab and received the following message:

Errors Detected -- Please Correct.
line# 1: name (Marty XXXX) or email (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) already in use for another person
Go Back and Correct

My entry in the name box is:

Marty XXXX This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. 123-456-7890

I checked all of the other tabs (Member, Prospects,...) and the name and email is not present anywhere and thus unique. I tried several times with different names and emails with the same results.

I am logged in as the site administrator and I am not an officer.

BTW, the improved site is a step in the right direction.

I would have to guess that you are referring to Marty Wolff he is already in the members list

OK, he and the others are there. This brings up a new question. After adding Marty the first time I went back to the Members tab and he was not there (or anywhere for that matter). I tried going to other tabs and other topics and refreshing the page and the new members did not show up. that is when I tried to re-add the names. After reading your response I exited as admin and logged back in and poof! there they were. How long does it take for the Member tab to be populated after adding? Is there a way to force a refresh of the list?

Your browser is caching the unchanged screen.

You will have to do a screen reload, depending on the browser hold the shift key and click the reload symbol in your browser

I am the current system developer.

All lists should update immediately--that is the design. You are saying that you entered some new info in Quick Add and the lists did not update?

That is correct. I'm not sure (haven't tried) if what Brian said was the problem but the new names didn't appear, for me, until I logged out as admin then logged back in.

Also, can you tell me what you put in? Did you put a name and email and phone or did you enter something else? It should not matter, but I just need to be able to exactly repeat what you entered to find any issue.

Firefox 33.1

I am using IE11 (that is what I develop/test on), and I am not able to reproduce the issue with the Quick Add tab.

Today I tried adding new names and it worked as advertised. I added a test case then immediately, as before, went to the Members tab to check if they were entered and they were. Here is what I just tested with:
Test number1 This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. 570-555-1234
Test number2 This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. 570-555-4567
Test number3 This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. 570-555-8901

Also, can you tell me what you put in? Did you put a name and email and phone or did you enter something else? It should not matter, but I just need to be able to exactly repeat what you entered to find any issue.

First and last name, email address, phone number. (No punctuation between fields).

I can not reproduce the problem either. The problem must have been as Brian suggested the browser's cache. I'll let you know if I have any future problems.
