Hello,

When I try to log in out club site as a member I get a message like this



Then when I click on "Keep These and Close" or "Clear These and Close", I get a warning message like this:



Can someone help me ?

I experienced a similar problem, apparently about the same time as Alexandre32. However, it has either been resolved in the meantime or resolved on it's own within the last half hour:

1. Logged in a few days ago for the first time since the 2.20 update, saw the "Welcome to FreeToastHost 2.20" message, cleared it with no error.

2. Logged in today as "admin", set a Login Message for my member name ("This is a test message" - no characters to which JavaScript would object). Logged out, got the same error message below when trying to "Keep" or "Clear" the message. Closing the box cleared the screen, but didn't log me in.

3. Logged back in as "admin", cleared the message in the admin panel, clicked Save.

4. Attempted to log in as member, login message was blank except for: "[details of when the message was created and by whom]", again could not keep or clear the message to login. I assumed something in the automatically generated footer message was creating the JavaScript error.

However, as I was making this entry, I tried again to confirm the messages I was receiving, and the error no longer occurred.

I am using IE 11 on a Windows 8 desktop.

Sometimes, when people log into the upgraded FTH for the first time, there are problems because the browser still has old bits of code in its cache. The system is supposed to clear those automatically, but it doesn't always behave as it should.

Alexandre:

Try reloading the site by going to the bottom of the page and clicking on the (Click here to reload website from server.) link. If the problem doesn't recur, all is well. If it does, let us know and we can look further.

Hello,

Ok I see. I tried logging in myself now and it works.

I use Chrome on Mac OS 10.8

If this is a cash issue, I suggest advising people to clear their browser cash before logging in.

I'll watch to see how it evolves in the next days.
