In the past, to have a custom webpage on Free Toast Host, I would login as admin to my club's website, go to Launch admin console, drop down to Custom web pages, select the already created custom page (which ends with [LINK], click on the Link icon, in the URL box, drop in the URL (which came from my club's Google Drive shared document), click OK and then the custom webpage was linked to the file on Google Drive. When I do this now, the link is not updating. Please advise. Thanks!

Erin,

Are you receiving any type of message when clicking on Save?

Refresh your browser, and give it another try.

You should not be using the link icon to save custom links. That icon is just for putting links into full custom pages.

Just type the link address into the editor window by itself and save when creating a custom link.

I’m having lots of trouble with version 2.20. The trouble I’m having is with
- Updating floater message
- Changing status of member
- Adding new member
- Editing custom webpage

Refer to the attached printscreens for what I’m seeing.

Thanks,
Erin

Sorry, pdf attachments don't work.

Could you please attach your screenshots as .jpg files.

Sure thing - sorry it's 8 separate files - but the Word document I created with my issues is 8 pages long. If there's any way I can send you the entire Word doc or a PDF (which lists my issues with screen shots) - if that's easier to read, let me know. Thank you!

It looks as though you are getting logged out frequently. Check your browser cookie settings and see if that helps.

What browser, version and operating system (Windows 7, Windows 8 etc) are you using?

I'm using google chrome 39 and Windows 7. I went to "History - Clear browsing data" prior to logging in as admin into 3259.toastmastersclubs.org and cleared my browsing data - and I'm still receiving all of these errors. When I exit Admin consul (after experiencing all of these errors), on 3259.toastmastersclubs.org under Logins, it shows I'm still logged in as admin (since the hyperlink available is to "logout as site admin".

Please try the following in sequence:
  1. Confirm that your cookie settings are correct, as shown in the documentation support.toastmastersclubs.org/doc/item/cookie-settings, and adjust them if necessary
  2. Log out of the website as admin and as member, and close your browser down completely.
  3. Reopen the browser and click on the "Click here to Reload website from Server" at the very bottom of your website page.

Let us know if that makes a difference.

It worked!!!! Thank you!!! I had been going to History - clear browsing data, but that had not been working to clear the cache. This time I went to Settings - Show advanced settings - content settings - allow local data to be set - done. And it worked. Like all of my issues are now resolved. Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!
