That is not from the upload that is from the save button.

Scroll all the way to the bottom of the screen, click on the reload link. DO THAT AGAIN. Then try the upload.

I have made a couple changes. Please close/reload your browser and click the reload website link at the bottom of the website.

The screen and error message tells me what you actually did vs what you told me you did. The save button does not upload a file. You have to use the Upload Button to upload files 1st. The save button just saves the custom file descriptions for the files you have already uploaded. Please review our docs on how to use the File Manager. support.toastmastersclubs.org/doc/item/file-management

First, when I turned on the computer and started FireFox I was greeted with a welcome screen that said I have just been updated to version 34.0 so, that is what I am now working with.

What I did this time (is what I did the first time), in detail: After logging in as administrator and going to the File Manager page I clicked on the Select file to Upload... UPDATED tab selected the the PDF file to be up loaded (from explorer) then clicked Save That is when I got the error message. (You were correct in identifying where the error message occurred. However, I was unable to have the file available for others to download so, that is why I said it failed to upload. [overall problem instead of specific problem]) This time however, I received the message that "You are no longer logged in..."

Remembering what I read in other posts I checked my cookies and found that they were turned on.

I went to the Website Settings ---> Home Page and was successful in saving a minor edit. Even though I was told I was not logged in! I then went back to the File Manager tab and and tried the upload the PDF again, using the same mythology as above with the same error result. I then logged out as Admin, closed FireFox, restarted FireFox, logged in as Admin and this time I successfully uploaded the PDF.

Could it have been the version of FireFox as you mentioned in a previous post? I do not know.

I then logged in as a member to check my results. After entering my name and password and clicking on Authenticate/Login FTH sent me an email as if I never logged in before.

Checking my email for the verification message... now Google won't respond:

I give up for tonight and will try tomorrow (Wednesday).

I would try closing and reloading your browser.

I will take a look at some more things on my end.

Hang in there. ;)

Today I was able to up load new files without a problem. I now consider this topic closed.

However, I have a new problem, all of the officers titles have disappeared in the Members list but, I will open a new topic about this new problem.
