I'm having a similar/related problem to the recently posted home page problem. I'm on the Barrier Breakers website:http://barrierbreakers.toastmastersclubs.org - club number 7290. I've been trying to replace a picture w/ a newer picture and get this error message:"Home Page/Meeting Info Page editor content length exceeds maximum length of
65533 characters and cannot be saved!
Save FAILED." The pic file is only 103KB (584 X 390 pixels). I attached it.

I had the same issue with the pull downs that the other posting had and I added [/b] as recommended. It stopped the pull downs from being expanded but the [/b] now appears on the site. Why is that?

Unfortunately, the text that had previously been w/the pics is now lost. Do you have a backup that would contain that?

I do not know what you did... I went to your website and you have some verbiage at the bottom that probably should not be there... When I go to the home page admin section, all there is there is the one photo... I believe the error is in the code

1. Please put your club number and website address in your forum signature to simplify getting support in these forums. See my signature below for the link to tell you how to do that.

2. The problem is that you tried to copy and paste an image into the editor. You cannot paste images into the editor--they must be uploaded to the server and inserted using the editor's image tool. Because you pasted the image into the editor, your home page is now mangled and my only recourse is to delete your home page content. We do not keep backups for specific clubs... We provide a Webpage Tool for saving webpages--you can back up webpages that way. You may be able to recover your home page via Google Cache... see our doc on that. support.toastmastersclubs.org/doc/item/r...nt-from-google-cache

3. Perhaps you have a different sense of math, but my sense is that 103KB (103,000 bytes) is greater than 65533 bytes/characters.

We have a number of online user/admin docs that we have put a good bit of time and effort into creating. My recommendation is that you get familiar with those.

Linda, she pasted an image which exceeded the storage limit for one page. Use the browser source view and you can see the image data in the Home page area of the HTML.

Have to use the website fix tool in FTHAdmin to delete home page content.

Hopefully it is in Google Cache to retrieve it back.

I sort of thought that, but was not sure...

I have deleted your home page content and restored it from Google Cache (fortunately).

Please review the following on adding page content--you cannot paste photos into the editor. It causes problems.
