A a club we are in the early days of playing with the FTH Agenda tools. Is there anyway and agenda from FTH can be exported to excell?

There is no way in FTH I can recreate our standard meeting agenda with timings and print it on a single page. We also like to show current meeting and future meeting roles in our meeting agenda which is Excel spreadsheet based. If I could export from FTH to Excel I could use VLOOKUP to populate our current agenda.

In FTH, we set up meeting agendas in advance and use the Meeting Sign-up Sheet report to produce a sign up sheet for up to five meetings in advance.

We also have role change notifications to allow VPE notifications if your members want to sign up on-line.

Thanks for prompt reply. Understand that in FTH you can create advance date agenda's and have a good amount of flexibility in agenda design. It is a very good system.

However at Newcastle Toastmasters we want to keep the agenda we have used for about the last 7 years which I cannot recreate in FTH. As far as I can determine at present I can print the agenda sheets from FTH out as hard copy or export and save as a PDF. If I could also export as an Excel I can use formula in our standard excel based agenda to up load the roles and semi-automate our process.

In your next update to FTH would it be possible to add export to Excel as well as PDF?

I don't make promises about when certain things may or may not get implemented. I will say that exporting to Excel for agendas is harder than most people think. It is not a strict row and column format. Some cells, like speeches contain very different information.

OK - understand.

If you press the print button and then cancel out of the print you can copy the agenda and then paste it to Word or Excel. You'll see that the spreadsheet isn't that simple. I've seen some clubs copy the "meat" of the agenda into their Word template.

Thanks for that suggestion. I have already tried to do this both with transfer to word and also to excel. While I can get info across I was expecting a simple table in Word and data in seperate columns in Excel. In both cases the formatting was terrible and unusable. In Excel just about everything was in a single column and unscrambling would have been too time consuming.

I will keep trying to find something that works for us.
