Last week I had to try many times to upload a picture and every time showed upside down, I even tried to turn it around in my computer to see if it would show it the right way, but it did not work, it worked after I said a prayer!! (just kidding) it was very frustrating, today, I am teaching someone in my Club and IT HAPPENED AGAIN! Can someone tell me what is happening? I got rid of many pictures, because I thought maybe I had too many. but the problem persists. I will appreciate any help you can give me. Thank you. Aída.

Images have a lot of data attached to them that we can't see, including things like date and time taken. They also have information about their orientation. Some mobile camera devices don't provide the orientation information as part of that meta-data, so the device you display the image on doesn't know which way is up. I sometimes see photos upright on my laptop but sideways on my iPad. The easiest way to overcome the problem when you are aware of it is to take a screenshot of your image while it is the right way up. The screenshot will be a new image and it will have all of its orientation meta-data, so it will show the right way up. Thank you so much for the explanation Pam, I think it is so important to know that it is normal and it could happen to anyone! lately, I ask others in the Club to take the picture of the winners of the day and it has been with different iPhones and send the pictures to me, before I have taken pictures with my own camera. Now I know, I have Sniping Tool and I can use it next time it happens Aida..
