Our club likes to head somewhere for a cold one after the meeting, so once the president wraps things up, there's the final agenda item titled "Post Toasties." Since it is not part of the meeting itself, I assigned it a duration of 0 minutes. Here's how the agenda looks, ON SCREEN, in this scenario:

8:09PM
8:19PM

President
Solicits officers' reports and makes general announcements. Announces business session following, if any, then announces Post Toasties and adjourns the meeting.
I. Ken Talk, CC, ALB
-
Post Toasties
Join us downstairs.

That's fine, but when the agenda is to be printed, things change, and not for the better! On the print preview window the content changes to this:

8:09PM

President
Solicits officers' reports and makes general announcements. Announces business session following, if any, then announces Post Toasties and adjourns the meeting.
I. Ken Talk, CC, ALB
Post Toasties
Join us downstairs.

The end time of 8:19PM for the President slot is gone, as is the centered hyphen in column 1 of the Post Toasties line.

As you can see, since Post Toasties has no duration, FTH doesn't assign it a start time (on either on-screen or printed agenda). Fine and dandy, but we still need the agenda to know when the stop (end) time is, no?

If I delete the Post Toasties agenda item, here is how the ON SCREEN agenda looks:

8:09PM
8:19PM

President
Solicits officers' reports and makes general announcements. Announces business session following, if any, then announces Post Toasties and adjourns the meeting.
Ken U. Talk, CC, ALB

That's decent, but not as nice as the PRINT PREVIEW version:
8:09PM
8:19PM(end)

President
Solicits officers' reports and makes general announcements. Announces business session following, if any, then announces Post Toasties and adjourns the meeting.
Talk Too Mi, ABC, XYZ

Here, and only here, "(end)" appears, signifying the end of the meeting. That's nice!

Summary: Consistent display (SCREEN and PRINT) of end-of-meeting marking is desired. Proper handling by agenda of a zero-duration entry at end is sought. NOTE: I just verified that if the "This role should appear on the printed meeting agenda" box is unchecked for Post Toasties, the "(end)" shows up. The problem is related to the inclusion on the agenda of a final 0-duration entry.

Phew!
