Is Free Toast Host server not working?

I have websites for two clubs on Free Toast Host. I cannot access either of them - getting the response "Can't reach this page".

Same problem here.

Name resolution is failing.
C:\Windows\System32>ping toastmastersclubs.org
Ping request could not find host toastmastersclubs.org. Please check the name and try again.

C:\Windows\System32>ping plantation.toastmastersclubs.org
Ping request could not find host plantation.toastmastersclubs.org. Please check the name and try again.

Obviously support/toastmastersclubs.org is working, but that's probably hosted on a different server?

Brian, still unable to access either website - tried both Internet Explorer on my laptop (other websites working fine) and Safari on my iPhone...

Wasn't using ping itself to test. But I did (lightly) isolate the issue to Google's DNS (8.8.8.8 ) which is very very commonly used.
C:\Windows\System32>nslookup - 8.8.8.8
Default Server:  google-public-dns-a.google.com

Ahh... but change my DNS to Comcast.

And it works (site loads now for me)! This is probably beyond FTH's control to fix. It is an issue with Google's DNS apparently. It will probably go away on its own.

if you phone is using the same wireless as your laptop. I suggest you reboot your wireless router and Internet modem.

Or...it could be that Comcast (and others ISPs) have it cached still and will forget it once it reaches TTL. That will make the problem worse.

Might want to double check your DNS guys.


(this comes from my decade in IT and as current IT Director of a cloud based company...I deal with this stuff daily)

I am not having any issues connecting, but I do have other members in the club that are getting the same error. Not sure what the problem is as we both have the same ISP (Comcast).

I also have members who cannot login (getting the same message as everyone else here). One said that he tried to login from 2 separate computers with no luck (both windows). I am able to login from my Mac, but an email that I sent out to the group did not go through.

Any assistance would be much appreciated.

I hope this get's resolved soon as I support three club websites with toastmastersclubs.org

I'm seeing this on one:

This site can’t be reached
5410.toastmastersclubs.org’s server DNS address could not be found.
Search Google for 5410 toastmasters clubs org
ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED

The other two have redirects (ie they have a domain name that redirects to the toastmasterclubs.org's server) - and they both appear to be working.

The issue at the Registrar has been resolved and the changes are propagating around the world. I do not know how long it will take your local provider DNS to receive the changes please be patient, and keep trying to access your site.
