hi! i am a yandex mail user & my username is This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. Some time back, i logged a "trouble ticket" that yandex mail did not work on FTH hosts. i was told that yandex had caused a lot of spam in the past & not to use it even tho i was using it for years on all toastmasters business. I was directed to use
1. outlook/hotmail
2. yahoo
3. gmail.

I don't know what led to that conclusion, i've never had any problems with spam on yandex. Conversely, i've had tons of problems with yahoo & gmail in the past. This morning, i saw this in the news.

i would like to see yandex supported soon. My club has to bear with many "management issues" bec i use 1 mail box to handle FTH business, & another to handle casual correspondence with my club members.

I defer to Brian on this stuff... you would have to convince him to change his mind. I am guessing that he has Yandex explicitly blocked.

Yandex is blocked and will remain blocked because of their abusive predatory nature with mail, hacker support and poorly behaving spiders.

How do you know we are not ??? You made an assumption that is not correct.

Any poorly behaving spiders *are* blocked.

We *have* to do this to prevent the performance of our one server system from being degraded quite a bit.

It is not just a security issue... it is a system performance issue, also.
