Hi,

Why is it that sometimes when I log on as VP of Membership, I can edit the agenda, other times there is no edit button?

Is it possible to give all all members the capability to edit the agenda, or at least all the officers?

Thanks, Marie

There are two things considered as to what you can do re: creating and editing agendas.

1. If you are one of the 3 possible officer roles listed in the access settings tab as an agenda creator, then you can both create and edit agendas when you log in as a member. Alternately, if you have logged in as the website admin (or in addition to your member login), you can also do this.

2. If you are listed as the Toastmaster for a meeting, then you can edit that meeting's agenda but not create new agendas.

#2 may be tweaked a bit for the next release, but that would have nothing to do with club officer roles. (I have something else in mind.)

While we do want to encourage delegation of activities from the website admin to club officers and we certainly want to encourage separation of officer responsibilities, I doubt very much that we will ever get to the point of allowing all officers to access all admin areas or even all officers accessing a single admin area. I realize that it may sound a bit arrogant and presume that we know better than you how your club should run, but most of us supporting/developing the system have been past and/or current club and district officers, so we do have a sense of best club operations practices. We try to provide enough flexibility in the system to accommodate how individual clubs operate while limiting bad practices. (It is why there are limits in the access settings.)
