On our current site, I have added member profiles, photos, ad information. But it only shows the first 10 of our members. It does not show the other 8. Is there a way to make all of our member profiles appear?

Here is the link to our site: sodaktoastmasters.toastmastersclubs.org/index.cgi?memberlogout When you click on the blue Meet our Members, it only shows the first 10, but we actually have 18 members.

Or, is there another way that I can create a page of images? Thanks for any help.

Hi, Dan !!!

Have you checked to see whether the members have made their profiles public? If they haven't, then they'll remain invisible.

BTW... you can check this in the Admin Console by going to Membership Management > Members > View/Edit Profile (for the individual member). You may then need to click the "Basic Information" tab, if it's not already selected. If the "Yes" is grey rather than green, it's public. It would probably be a good idea not to switch any of these without the member's approval, but you probably knew that.

All 18 are marked "yes" for public viewing. But only 10 are showing. It is as if there should be a 2nd page of photos, but I have no clue how to make the second page appear. Still need help or suggestions

Hi Dan,

Right now, we may have a bug related to saving a picture but having no profiles. I'll be alerting our developer on this. One of our other ambassadors has done a little work and I now see 18 members visible. If you have any further members to add, you might try adding some blank text to the profile, as a stopgap.

I received an email from you earlier today. This time when I went in, all 18 profiles are showing. This s the first time that ALL the profiles and photos have shown. You must have tweeked something??? Yesterday when I went in, I did not change anything. I only made sure that all the members were set to "yes", and they were.

We've had a few other quirks with out website from time to time. Perhaps I should start another thread, instead of asking it here.

It regards the members logging in when they are the Toastmaster for the coming meeting. In order for us to get the "editing pencil" to show up, we have to go through some browser "gymnastics." For some it works fine. For others, we really struggle to get the "pencil" to appear. Should I start another thread???

Yes, please start another thread. Always, one thread, one problem.

For a problem that only occasionally appears, it may take a while to figure it out, unless you help us with a little detective work:
  • Does it happen randomly, or only for certain members?
  • What browsers do they use? What versions?
  • What "gymnastics" make the pencil appear? Be as specific as possible

And please, don't answer here, but in another thread give all the details you can think of.
