In regard to my previous post about the blind member, she was able to get logged in using the method you suggested. However, when trying to select a date for a specific meeting, that drop down is another hurdle. It seems different as the user can't input anything to find a specific date. This is where she is stuck now. Any suggestions?

You are correct that the agenda date drop-down could be problematic for a blind person.

I am not sure there is anything we can do in the short term. We have never promised to be totally accessible to the disabled, although it is certainly something I am interested in moving forward.

Thanks for the quick reply. I've talked to the tech support for the screen-reader software that our member uses. It's called JAWS. They referred me (and also you) to a website w3c.org. They are the have (to the best of my knowledge) the international standards for
web accessibility listed there. This seems like it would be a good resource to find a way to make FTH blind accessible. If there is anything I can do to help the process, please let me know.

I am aware of the resources. It is basically adding ARIA tags to the HTML, but it is a lot of work to determine which ARIA tags to add in which location.

Would it be possible for your member to use the calendar to access the agendas by date? Just a thought, I have no idea how the screen-reader software works. She'd have to be logged in as a member for the calendar to link to the agenda.
