When you accept cookies, there is a data transfer to the server that occurs.
If you are on a slow connection it may take a bit to complete.

Speaking of Cookies, is there reason I have to accept the "Cookie Policy" every time I visit the website of one of my clubs? Am I missing something in the way my browser is setup? (I'm using FireFox on Windows 10)

You should only need to need to accept once per website. Perhaps your browser is not accepting cookies.

My browser is set to accept cookies and retain until they expire. I am a member of multiple clubs and regularly interact with 5 FTH websites. This morning three of the five required me to accept the cookie policy. I have had to accept the policy multiple times on some of the sites. Please investigate and fix the problem.

Do you have a security software that removes cookies?
