UPDATED FEATURE - Send New Member Welcome Email upon New Member Opt-in 6 years 8 months ago #70296

Several of you have asked about sending the new member welcome email when a new member "opts-in" and I agree that would be great, so I added that functionality. However, you have to enable it as it is disabled by default--we tend to not like a lot of emails just being sent out automatically, so this is disabled by default on purpose. There is a checkbox to enable it in the Membership Management Settings tab... see below:
There are also some modifications to the existing notifications to indicate that the welcome email was also sent. |
