Hello, I've recently became the webmaster for my chapter. Is it possible to "clone" the current version of the site, so I can edit that version instead of the actual site? Just in case- i dont want to delete anything or make a change that is irreversible.

Also - can I use a site like "codepen.io" to design the site? I'm planning on using my own HTML/CSS code, or does the chapter site need need to adhere to a "standard toastmasters template"?

It's not quite the same as cloning, but you can use the Web Page Tools (see support.toastmastersclubs.org/doc/item/backup-your-site) to save a copy of the HTML to your PC before you begin. Then, if you make a mess, you can simply replace the original HTML from your PC.

FreeToastHost uses a standard template. Anything more advanced would need a different content system.

Spare yourself anxiety and Backup your site regularly.
