BlueBell Toastmasters #397, C Wallace VPPR of club

Our BBtoast.org domain had to be renewed by 10/9. The President of the club did the renewal. Our website was down for a couple of days. Since then, members can't sign into the website to sign up for the speaker or administrative roles. Also, when I go in as the administrator and put in the login and password , at the top in red letters it says not secure or safe. As far as I know this hasn't happen to the club website. Can you let me know what is happing and how to fix it. Thanks

1) your website 397.toastmastersclubs.org/ is working fine.

2) the domain www.BBtoast.org does not point to the FTH server.

the following are incorrect
BBtoast.org. 3599 IN A 66.96.143.163
www.BBtoast.org. 3599 IN A 66.96.143.163
BBtoast.org. 3599 IN MX 30 mx.BBtoast.org.

correct
mail.BBtoast.org. 3599 IN A 50.19.253.65

Blue Bell Toastmasters 397

Hi Brian,
Thanks for your response to my last post. Would the path issue have an affect on a member password? I have members who have to put in their password each time they login to the website. They didn't have this problem before the domain issue. Thanks again.

Cheryl

It could impact it, albeit indirectly.

Typically, cookies are saved on a user's computer to track their login status, but cookies are tied to the specific domain in use. If that changes, then a new set of cookies must be created. This is just how the internet works.

bbtoast.org still is not setup correctly.
FTH does NOT support domain forwarding.
Please contact your registrar and have the correct settings entered.
