Is there a way to add an administrator event that is NOT visible to the public? Also, is there a way to add an agenda-type sign up to these same events? We frequently hold Toastmasters marketing events within our workplace and would like our members to be able to use FTH to sign up for volunteer shifts at these events.
Thank you,

The calendar is public and so are all the entries.

You should just create a specialized meeting agenda for those events. (Create a new template for those.)

Keep in mind that an "agenda" does not really have to be for just a regular meeting. You could create a dated agenda for an event also, and just use made up roles that people could sign up for.

Thank you both for your responses. I didn't think of creating a separate agenda for these events, but I'm not sure we want to make them public by posting them on the calendar.

(Edited for accuracy... sorry for my past confusion! - Steve)

What you could do is the following:

Create dated agendas for the same event date but *lastnext year* (or some pastfar future date). The public will not normally look at these since they are in the past far future.

Then create an admin or member event on the proper event date but referencing the past agenda via the URL.

I've created the Administrator event and linked it to a new agenda for a past date, but the agenda says it is locked to members. How do I unlock it so members can sign up?

You can't, once a date has past the agenda is locked.

Set one up in the future and people can sign up.

Oh, yeah... Thanks, Brian, I forgot about that!

Yeah, just use a far future date. The key thing is just to use a date that the general public will not look at.
