I am loading old agendas into FTH. How do I identify a meeting's attendees who had no role?

If this can be done then can this information be imported into FTH (from what I can tell, the answer is no)?

Thanks.

After the agenda is created you can go back in and update the attendance.
Please see the documentation

Thank you for the reply, Brian. Your solution was obvious (alas, sometimes the hardest thing to see).

When I assign a name to a role, the pulldown menu has only the active members. But I sometimes need former members (since I'm reconstructing past agendas). How can I get the pulldown menu to fuse the active and former member lists together? I don't find this matter addressed in the documentation (although it may well be...I just don't see it).

Thanks.

Brian, will this work: move a name from the Former Members list to the Members List, then assign the role, and then move the member back to the Former Members list?

If so then next question: could there be unanticipated side-effects (elsewhere in the system) caused by moving a name back and forth between these lists?

Thank you.

The pull down will show people from your former members list in addition to members list for old agendas that you wish to update. The pull-down works a bit differently for past agendas vs current future agendas.

Unfortunately, only active members are in the pulldown menu, and I don't see how to get the former members' list to appear simultaneously with the active members (maybe I'm missing something obvious in the directions).

But we can let this go since I can briefly move a former member to the active list, plug the role, and then move the member back to the former members list. HOWEVER, when I then look at the updated roster, the name that had been there (as a consequence of first having moved the name from former to active) now reads "Role filled by (Former Member)."

Can the person's name be made to persist after the name is returned to the Former Members list? After all, as time passes, members will move on to other clubs and so the current agenda will someday have no names -- a future club historian may have trouble with this.

So no, once they are no longer a member all information is hidden, if they return their information will show.

We are waiting for a legal response on how long we can allow a former members information to remain on the server period.. These privacy laws are a royal pain.

Thanks Brian. Well, that reply was a surprise but it makes sense. Wish that I could wave a magic wand and make the privacy issues vanish. Alas, we each must deal with that (and it's never fun).

You and Steve are great. The TM community is lucky to have you in our corner.
