If you still have. Black and white group photo and it's All men maybe it's time to update.

Yes or yes?

Usually every 1 to 2 years our Land club photographs a brand new updated group photo in color.

Share the site link so members can find themselves

Another tip to get your club site rock Zand rolling

You need to keep photos *current*. If you are showing a photo containing past members without a photo release, you are essentially using the past member's image for club marketing without their permission. This is why group shots need to be updated regularly.

The main issue with this is that it does not really fit well with how clubs actually work, and I suspect that is why it likely does not get used much.

I think that clubs should have a photo release form as part of a new member packet. New members agree to the use of their photos for:

1. Any club use forever. ... OR
2. Any club use for as long as they are a member. ... OR
3. Only on a case by case basis (requires permission for each case) .... OR
4. Only for group shots
5. No photos at all forever.
etc.

In other words, most members would probably just agree and sign for #1 or #2 above, and then the club just saves the records somewhere (like a dropbox folder or similar). This way, the photo release is handled, but it is not a pain to do so, since they do not need to get one for each and every day that photos are taken.
