Hi I have noticed that a url to a members only page has strange behavior.

Given that member is not logged in….

I expected that clicking a link to a members only page would show the login prompt then after they have logged in it would go to the page they originally tried to see.

What actually happens is when they are not logged in they are redirected to the home page with no login prompt.

Is there a setting somewhere?
This is making it hard to share members only content through email.
Certain pages like agenda show people the login prompt before showing the agenda. Can this behavior be done for other members only pages?

As you discovered, the login prompt behavior is only enabled for specific pages at this time. If you feel it should be enabled for other members pages, then please submit an improvement suggestion in the improvement suggestions forum section. I do review those for code changes when I have available free time to work on the system code.
