Hi,

I searched but didn't find a previous topic on this.

In recent days, we've had a member who has been moved from the Members list to the Former Members list twice. The website claims that he's pressing the email link "Not a Member?" but he says he has never pressed that link. Here's the message. Do you have any suggestions? Is this a known issue? Could his email client be doing something nefarious?

Eric

Rudy Murgo has indicated via a "Not a Member?" email link that they are no longer a member of club
9579 and has requested that the system move them to Former Member status.

This message is to notify you that the system has completed this request.

No, he isn't forwarding agendas or emails to anyone. In fact, after we did a little more debugging, the timing of the removals coincides with activity by our officers related to the agenda. However, they didn't move him to the other list, either. I find that odd.

I asked him to change his password and try a different email client to eliminate those as sources of the problem.

Yes, we're sure he isn't clicking the link. It's happened multiple times and even after we first discovered the problem.

It seems to be triggered by his nuscalepower address, which doesn't currently show as being one of his addresses, so I'm assuming that has recently been removed.  Hopefully that will stop the issue from re-occurring.

Yes, we changed the email address in hopes it solves the problem. If the issue persists, I'll let you know. Thank you.
