Good Afternoon.  I'm currently "Admin-ing" a website for Club 9685; woosterheights.toastmastersclubs.org.  Was looking through the docs and didn't see anything on where I go to enable the "Meet Our Members" page.  So sorry.  What am I missing.  Point me to the doc page, so that I learn properly, and can instruct others on how to use it.  Current date 6/12/2023 of work in this site.  Thank you so much for your help.
Phyllis Kirouac (PN-03182288).

It's on the 'Appearance' tab in the Website Settings module.

See 'Hide Menu Links' in this doc;

Richard:
I appreciate your timely response.  I saw that,however the instructions state that you check the menu items you do NOT wish to have displayed.  All of mine are unchecked, but "Meet Our Members" is NOT displayed.  If not checked, shouldn't it be displayed?  Attached is my Appearance tab.  You can see they are all unchecked, however in the Main Menu it is not present.
Thank you.
Phyllis

I just skimmed your members profiles and no one has the box checked; "Check to be included in the public Meet Our Members page."

This page is automatically generated so it should appear once someone checks that box in their member profile.

Many aspects of the system work on a "permissions & access granted" basis.  This includes members giving permission to be included in the Meet Our Members page.  If no members give permission, then there really is no page that can be generated.

Hence the need to carefully review what the need is and what options are available.within each portion of the system and how it will be utilized. There are some really definitive gems in this tool. I am an advocate, however, the more involved I become in setting up club's FTH sites, the more I appreciate all the details that are applied. Thank you Richard and Steve for your assistance.

In the past (FTH version 2 and before), the usage model that the system was designed to work with was one where the Admin did all the admin work in the platform and was the "superuser".  The Admin was presumed to make most of the decisions about how the system would be configured.

Over time, we have come to realize that that early usage model really did not work well as more people became comfortable using the system and it gained wider acceptance.  So we have kind of evolved to a point where multiple people (e.g. officer roles) can work on different aspects of the system in a more distributed sense, and the Admin can be more of a supervisory role that grants access to different parts of the system.  In addition, it is no longer the case that the admin can unilaterally make decisions about what member info is included and not included... members have more power to decide that based on the permissions that they grant via their member profile.
