Hi,

My club has a very manual excel file to keep track of member's roles.  I just found the report button, which is useful but a little clunky.

Does anyone have a clever way to manage this?  I also have an airtable license and suspect it would be great (I just need to learn it)

I'd like an easy to read report showing who has had different roles in the last 6 months so I can assign agendas fairly and give everyone a chance.  It seems like this should be easy to automate?

Thank you!

Stacey

Copy and paste the report into excel and manipulate to your hearts content.
Why are you assigning and not letting your members signup first?

Yes, we are already using excel: I was seeking a clever way to manage it.

To answer your question: we assign TM, GE and 2 speakers.  The other roles are open for sign up.  It works well and everyone gets a chance to speak.

Does your club leave all roles open?  I think that would be too chaotic for us.

Agendas are created 6 months out by the VPED, and people can signup as they want.
At the end of each meeting the VPED reviews the next weeks agenda and fills in any open roles.
