The printable version of an agenda (when you click on the printer icon) is sadly lacking when it comes to duplicating Toastmasters' "recommendation" to use their new agenda layout. It could barely be described as a milquetoast version of the 1-color and 4-color agendas as shown in Toastmasters' Virtual Brand Portal (www.toastmasters.org/Members/OfficerReso...rtal/Stationery.aspx).

In addition to the reading ease of the VBP layout(s) for all, as well as showing your club's location, club's meeting information, and the Toastmasters Mission Statement, the listing of member names (and their associated awards) give guests a warmer "welcome" feeling, especially when they can "put the name to the face" of officers as people they can go to with questions.

As a website designer, I know that this inconsistency can be dealt with in short order. Will this issue be visited at all in the future, near or otherwise?

The above "watered down" version will be the best solution for most clubs, however further customization within the body of the agenda would be welcome for more advanced webmasters!

You can put anything you want in the agenda header and be as colourful as you want.

The options to print the role details and the members pictures is already there and can be turned on in the Admin Console > Meeting Agenda Settings >Meeting Agenda Global Settings

Brian,

I understand and appreciate all of those "extras", but that doesn't address the entirety of the format inconsistencies. If Toastmasters "recommends" that clubs use their new layouts, they need to grasp the fact that people are inherently lazy (I'm not excluding myself) and will just click a print button instead of copying and pasting or typing everything out into a pre-made downloadable agenda template, IF they even download it.

Additionally, from a marketing standpoint, it takes an average of seven, yes -- count 'em -- seven, exposures before someone even recognizes the fact they've seen something before and will investigate further at that point.

Toastmasters has "standards" regarding logo and graphics use. Wouldn't they also rather have everyone using consistent "stationery"?
