I would like to suggest that at the bottom of the Add/Edit Agenda Item form, there would be a drop down "condensed" list of all current agenda items. The list would be labeled "Insert/Move this item before: ".

By "condensed", I mean just enough information for the user to be able to identify which item in the list goes with each actual agenda item. Would not include role descriptions in a drop down list. There would also need to be a "dummy item" at the bottom of the list called "Move to BOTTOM of Agenda". Regarding the wording, "Insert" would apply to adding an agenda item, while "Move" would apply to editing an existing agenda item.

The reason for doing this is simple. While the drag and drop feature certainly works, every time I add a new agenda item it gets put at the *bottom* of the agenda, and I have drag it sometimes to almost the top of the agenda. That is unnecessarily cumbersome.

With the drop down list approach I am proposing, the user would just basically being telling the code to "put this item here", and the move is done in one step instead of a lot of dragging and dropping.

If this were implemented so that it is available for items being edited, it would provide an alternate, more efficient (in my view), way to relocate agenda items.
