My club assigns the Toastmaster, Table Topics Master, and General Evaluators to members on a rotation in agendas. We currently use a Google Drive spreadsheet to keep track of the members in the rotation and whose turn it is to do the roles next.

it would be great if there was a feature to do that automatically in FTH2. I have thought about this a bit, and it occurred to me that maybe you could set up a default rotation using a list box showing active members in FTH2. By using a multiple selection list box to allow filtering out some members from the rotation, you could prevent automatically assigning some of the "dummy members" like Guest that some clubs (including mine) use for a role..

I think this could work by having the actual assignments from a rotation take place once a "live" agenda is create from a template. Since names can currently be pre-assigned to roles in a template, that could be used to keep track of whose turn it is to do certain roles. However, unlike the pre-assignment that is currently done in the template, if a role is hypothetically marked for "Assignment per the rotation:" (checkbox), the person in the template could be updated to the next person in the rotation before each time a "live" agenda is created from a template. Thus, the template itself could be used to keep track of whose turn it is for roles assigned in a rotation. This should also work for the case of a new "live" agenda being created from another "live" agenda, so long as the appropriate roles are marked for automatic assignment from the rotation.

Obviously, certain rules would have to be followed for the automatic assignment of roles this way to prevent such things as people from being assigned to two roles in one meeting, for example.
