When you setup a club meeting in the agenda system, it shows up on the calander. And it shows up as a "club meeting". really cool and generally great. But what if it is not really a meeting. Such as a speech contest or a party or a place holder for a holiday. Now about allowing the default here to be changed as a part of the agenda setup.

You already have the capability of entering an event on the calendar. Events added by a member are in gray and by the admin are in burgundy. In addition, you can make these recurring events and you can also add hyperlinks to other pages.

Yes and I do that, but then if I add an agenda of a special form like the ones I mentioned, they still create a "club meeting" entry which can be confusing, as all three examples I give result in the normal meeting location being empty and locked at the time of the meeting.
