On my iPad, files on our site www.questtoastmasters.com are fetched, but downloading them does nothing. There isn't a native PDF reader built into iOS but Adobe's Reader is an app for this purpose.

Could it be activated when downloading a PDF?

Just download it: itunes.apple.com/us/app/adobe-acrobat-re...iew/id469337564?mt=8

We are not going to configure users' systems for them.

At this point, there isn't any configuration that will make this work unless the file can be integrated with the IOS upload box as attached. If it can't be done because of the effort I understand. It is certainly low priority.

Question...

Why use PDF? Have you tried google docs? they have very nice integration and you don't have to download anything as the file is stored in the cloud (google drive). I am moving away from the FTH file manager.

View our 10 week schedule here: harborsidetm.org/schedule-page.html

The schedule is a Google Sheets document, embedded on a FTH webpage. Anytime the VPE edits the schedule, the embedded document is automatically updated for all members (and guests like you) to view.

Likewise, on the same webpage is our agenda template. The google doc is "locked," meaning that when you click on the link, you can view the document, but not make changes. You can, however, make a copy--which becomes YOUR document. You can make all the changes you want to THAT document. This process allows all of our members, when they are toastmaster, to edit the agenda and either print it for our meeting, or send everyone a link to their file for viewing.

I like your idea of integrating Google Docs (I have been putting the meeting minutes in the file manager, for example). How did you link to a Google Doc from within FTH? Putting a link in a new webpage doesn't work, it just redirects to the Doc.

However, I like the way FTH handles agendas. I wouldn't change that.
