As VPE, I printed out the Members and Their Mentors report and noticed that while the MENTORED BY column contents are accurate, for those members who have been weaned from their mentor I'd like to not populate this field (which I believe is derived from the entry on the first of four profile panes), but I don't wish to lose track, for historical purposes, of who mentored whom. Yes, I can print this report out on occasion and store it in the files, but after a brief and fruitless search, I decided it would be nice(r) to have a general purpose NOTES field associated with each member's record, so I could put historical stuff like this in there.
Thoughts?

We already have that. I refer to it as "officer notes", but technically the system also uses it to log unsubscribe information for non-members.

You can access the officer notes by logging in as the admin or as a member who is an officer, and then accessing the Private Member Directory... there should be a notes box there. If you log in as the admin you should see 2 boxes there, the member's personal notes box and the office notes box.

So... the storage is already there for this, but it is just kind of "tucked away"... not particularly intuitive if you do not know where to look. Perhaps it should also be exposed in the member's profile if it is being accessed by someone other than the member. :? Open to ideas how to better present it.
