TOPIC:

I would like the reports generated such that they can be treated like data tables in excel so we can filter and sort on any of the output columns. Attached find a screen prints of spreadsheets with the current format of data in history reports and on a Desired format that would be useful.

I intend to do another pass on the reports in a few months... I hope you will join in the discussion threads then.

I have a quick question on the current version of the speech reports. Once you add a members speech info to the agenda, how long before you see that speech listed on the speech report?

Is there a batch process that must happen before the report is updated?

I added a members speech info at lunch today and as of now (4 hours later) it still isn't appearing on the report.

Not an issue I am just curious.

Please provide specifics... agenda date, member, role, etc.

Agenda date was today.

I added the speech info for Tammy Willner (speaker #1) today around 1:30pm. As of about 10 minutes ago 4:45pm I pulled the members speech report and the speech from today's meeting was still not listed on it.

The same is true for speaker #2 from today's meeting. The previous speech history for both speakers is appearing on the report, but not the speeches from today's meeting.

Club 4570, not club 7366. Sorry.

So, yeah, Brian is correct. The code will not include speeches from meeting dated the same day that the report is run. This actually makes sense, because all the report looks at is the date, not the meeting time. So if it included meetings for the day of the report, it would show speeches entered from any time that day.

Whether or not to include data from the days that reports are ran is a point of contention for the agenda system. Some clubs will want it (like you) and other clubs have complained about it when it was included. I currently am of the don't include it mindset.

Not an issue whether you include it or not. I just wanted to ask because a member looked at the report and was concerned that her last speech wasn't on it.

I can now tell them that you have to wait until the next day to see it on the report.
