I copy each agenda individually, paste into word and then painstakingly clean it out to get the attached example of a timer sheet which we give to our timer in addition to the formal agenda

I have seen the defaulted templates from TMI - however , I think it would be enormously useful to be able to print up ( or email as a PDF ) an individual timer sheet directly from the meeting agenda that has been setup

[ the attached example is from the Silver Service (club 1644) December 12 2016 meeting, I have since added in seperate lines when we have Table Topics for the number of 'victims' expected to be called upon ]

thanks
Stephanie

At the risk of sounding like a cop out, there is the very practical matter of clubs doing this all very differently. Not every club times every role in the meeting. In my club, we only time table topics, prepared speeches, and evaluations.

In many cases, we have just elected to leave some of this up to clubs to create rather than invest effort into something which would require every club to do it "our way'.

This is the conundrum of FTH... since we know we cannot ever make every club happy and can only hope to produce features that benefit the majority (>51%) of clubs, we have pick and choose where to expend efforts.

A tip -- What is really needed is a way for clubs to produce printable HTML templates complete with fill-in parameters. Then each club could produce whatever meeting forms they want, how they want them. The HTML could be easily shared. We could provide some default FTH versions that you could then easily modify to suit your needs. However, the system currently just does not have a lot of sophistication on the printing side (yet), so while you may be tempted to do some sort of form as a custom web page right now, good luck with printing it.

You're right - it does sound like a bit of a cop out

My counter to you would be to do the following

Add another tick box to the agenda set up ( we already have 6 , one more is not going to break us ) - and it is unticked by default , if we tick it - the item shows up on the printed Timers Report , if it's not ticked the items does not print onto the Timers report.

Speaking roles and evaluations by default should be ticked. This way you;ve covered the bases of allowing anyone who times anything to have an auto generated report

in particular clubs such as mine where there agenda is quite fluid from meeting to meeting, and everything is timed.

I hope you do consider the suggestion in it's amended form

Many thanks in advance
