What would be nice is if we can set up custom messages that are shown to each user when they sign up for a role. For example, if someone signs up for Toastmaster, we would like to show a message stating what the expected duties are for that role. Or if they sign up for speaker, we want to tell them they must enter their speech title 2 days before the meeting. Or perhaps if they sign up to be an evaluator, we show them a link to a PDF that gives advice on evaluating. Clearly we might want to use the same message for Evaluator #1, #2, #3, etc..

You can put a link to external content in the role descriptions now...

Our club has recently implemented a popup message for different roles on the agenda page, rather than putting a link in the role description. It basically involves adding some javascript in the meeting description. I saw in another thread that this poster was satisfied with the offered solution, but I'd be happy to share our code and instructions on getting it setup if others wanted to use it. Message or email me.
